I like the location not too far from my rental home and reasonably priced but I'm not sure yet if I got the price that was offered.
the clerk was new and did not know how to check things for me so she could not answer my questions or resolve my issues and apparently should could not contact anyone. : (
Nice breakfast area, responsive staff.
Waaaay too much perfumed carpet spray. Please clean the stairs and walkways with a powerwash!
Run down, noisy, some things nonfunctional..
Friendly staff, clean rooms, complimentary breakfast.
Fitness room and spa both out of order - they had been part of the reason for our choice based on the website. That was a disappointment,
I didn't like it at all
When I checked in they put me in a room that hasn't been cleaned after the previous customer so they placed me in another room which stunk so bad, smelled like animal and human pee. The floor was soaked which I think was from the air conditioner so we unplugged it causing the room to be hot and muggy and the smell got a lot worse, (Didn't want to open the window due to not knowing the area and kind of people were around.) When taking a shower the water temperature wouldn't stay the same, it kept changing from steaming hot to freezing cold so I was constantly jumping out and in and trying to control the temp. Also the shower head kept popping off. A couple days later the hotel withdrew money and took way too much from my account, my total for the room was suppose to be $76.99 but they took $87.99 which is way too much for such a bad room.
Close to work.
No restaurants within walking distance (over a mile away).
The staff were kind and the distance to everything is close enough that it's relaxing and you don't have to worry.
very run down , needs a paint job and some tlc
The Pepper Tree is located near not only family we were visiting, but many other places we needed such as dining, shopping, etc. Clean comfortable room, suprisingly quiet for being near the freeway.
Price and location and breakfast.
It is a older location that has had some updates many years back, but sorely needs new investment. The pool and parts are actually crumbling. The manager actually had to use a tool to get us in our room. It was not horrible, but if you want better you will have to pay for it.
My stay there was not very good. The tv, coffee maker and the hair dryer all did not work. I was there for 3 nights and most of these things were fixed the next day, but on the second day the air conditioner was leaking on the carpet so I had to place towels on the floor so the carpet and floor did not get damaged. This was around 10:00 pm. I told the desk the next day and someone fixed it. I am not a complainer and the staff did the best they could, but at the end of my stay I was only credited 30.00 total for all of this inconvenience. I felt I should have at least been credited one night lodging. I worked as a front desk clerk in a Best Western in San Francisco several years ago and for that amount of inconvenience there would have been more compensation. I will probably not be back.
it was the right location and quiet and really clean at a good price
the only thing i can think of is the breakfast needs to last at least till 10 am
It's clean than what I thought！and it is very convenient for shopping！
It was conveniently located near where I needed to be for my business purposes.
The continental breakfast could have used more variety like fresh fruits, more cereal choices, pastries, more juice choices, and more bread choices (croissants, sour dough, rye, white, etc).
The room itself was confy, the bed was very comfortable, and the price was very affordable.
The staff at the front desk either didn't speak much English, or they just didn't want to deal with people. They couldn't understand what I was saying. When they finally got my name, all they said was "I.D." and nothing else; gave me my room key and sent me on my way. I wasn't told check out times, breakfast hours, or any info of the sort. I'll be coming back to this area, but I think I'll find somewhere else to stay. Another thing I didn't like about my room was the floor, it had really loose floor boards, and were squeaky all over the room. I'm not sure if I would recommed this hotel to my friends.
